Emida Launches Java and Android Payment Applications
FOOTHILL RANCH, California, February 9, 2011 (Business Wire) – Emida Technologies, a global leader in mobile prepaid solutions, today announces the release of its Android and Java mobile applications for Emida’s Cash and Transact™ (CAT) Mobile Wallet platform. The Java and Android apps, together with Emida’s iPhone app released in 2010, enable consumers and agents to use CAT Mobile wallet on a variety of smart phones as well as very simple handsets more common in developing countries.
The new applications are being deployed initially in the US and Nigeria, where Emida operates real time top-up, PIN sales and CAT Mobile Wallet for our local partners. These new apps complement Emida’s existing POS, USSD and web services deployed in 37 countries for mobile top-up.
