Emida Introduces i-wireless Instant Refill from Cincinnati Bell
FOOTHILL RANCH, California, August 25, 2009 (Business Wire) – Emida Technologies, a leader in the global prepayment and value transfer market, has announced a new prepaid mobile direct top up product from Cincinnati Bell, one of the nation’s most respected and best performing local exchange and wireless providers with a legacy of unparalleled customer service excellence.
Cincinnati Bell distributes a range of telecommunication products and services to customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and uses the Emida platform to distribute its i-wireless prepaid mobile products. It has now developed a new direct top up product called i-wireless Instant Refill. This provides an easy, flexible, end-to-end alternative to the current, standard PIN-on-receipt method of applying funds to a prepaid mobile account. With i-wireless Instant Refill, customers can select any amount to top up from $5 to $100 and have the funds add directly to their account at the time of the transaction removing the need to remember and correctly enter a PIN number.
Michael Gordon, Director of Prepaid Wireless at Cincinnati Bell states, “We’re always searching for ways to make it easier and more convenient for our customers to do business with us. i-wireless Instant Refill through Emida’s direct top up program is a natural choice.”
Emida is the first company to market and distribute i-wireless Instant Refill adding it to a growing suite of prepaid mobile direct top up products. “Emida is excited to br
ing this new direct top up product to our customers. We anticipate i-wireless Instant Refill will bring increased traffic and revenues to our merchant channel and increased satisfaction from i-wireless customers due to funds being applied directly to their accounts”, said Traci Benincosa, Director of US Sales Operations at Emida.
