FOOTHILL RANCH, California, April 12, 2010 (Business Wire) – Emida, a leader in global prepayment and value transfer, has announced it processed more than 1 million prepaid wireless direct top-up transactions in Papua New Guinea (PNG) in February 2010 for contractual partner, Oceanic Communications Limited (OCL).
OCL is a master distributor for Digicel in the Pacific and was formed in 2007 as a joint venture with Facey Commodity Co. Ltd group. Patrick Neill, Regional Electronic Distribution Manager for OCL said “Emida has surpassed and continues to surpass our expectations. We are delighted with these results and expect overall performance to end well above 1.5m transactions in April 2010”.
