Miami, FL – May 3, 2004 – David Brillembourg, CEO of Emida Technologies, will participate as speaker at the 12th National Policy Conference of the Cuban American National Council that will be held in Miami Beach from May 12th to 14th of 2004.

This year’s conference “The Hemispheric Relations of Hispanic Americans” will assess the impact of U.S. Hispanics on Latin America’s development, and their roles in the business, social and political relations between the U.S. and its southern neighbors.

Brillembourg will join the Fourth Plenary Session discussing the Transnational Impact of Remittances, Trade, and Border Issues, from 3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m, Thursday, May 13, 2004.

Other panelists that will be speaking at the fourth plenary session include: Carlos de Cespedes, Chairman & CEO of The Pharmed Group, Jose A. Fourquet, US Executive Director at Inter-American Development Bank and Albert Zapanta, President & CEO of the US – Mexico Chamber of Commerce.

Brillembourg will be sharing EMIDA’s experience in the development of a multi-product money transfer network that enables Hispanics in the U.S. to control use of sent funds to relatives in Latin America and other countries.

The conference will close with an awards banquet honoring distinguished Hispanic leaders from across the United States.
